Oklahoma Divorce Forms & Papers

Either spouse must have been a resident of Oklahoma for six months immediately prior to filing for divorce. The divorce may be filed for in the county in which the plaintiff has been a resident for 30 days or in the county where the defendant resides. The only ground for a no-fault divorce in Oklahoma is: Incompatibility. [Oklahoma Statutes Annotated; Title 43, Section 101].

Separation agreements are specifically authorized by statute. [Oklahoma Statutes Annotated; Title 43, Section 205].

Use the word "Plaintiff". Be sure the "P" is capitalized.
Use the word "Defendant". Be sure the "D" is capitalized.
Use these exact words: DECREE OF DIVORCE. Be sure to use capital letters only when placed as the title of your final document.
